This coming new year of 2013 begins the 19th consecutive year for the CanJoe Company of Blountville, TN to be and to remain as a continuously operating licensed sole proprietorship business providing to the world market the only genuine, authentic, ‘real deal’ one-stringed musical instruments of their kind in existence. Since their beginning, these way cool little hand made musical instruments as introduced and offered exclusively by the CanJoe Company, as well as their mission, have uninterruptedly evolved and over the years have continued to be improved upon in functional design, and in craftsmanship quality. 2013 will undoubtedly be another year for more opportunities of even newer ideas, new innovative creations, and for many more new discoverers of these bad-to-the-bone, one-stringed musical things. Thanks again to All of you who continue to delight in owning, collecting, and playing them and who share the links to this blog site and/or the web site with others. I personally am most truly blessed by and thankful for having the many thousands of you who now own and have become as the die hard loyal supporters of the CanJoe Company and of these original one-stringed musical things.
In reviewing the web stats from the host site server tonight, it indicates that with just one more actual day still remaining in this year there have been nearly 28,000 visits to the web site; 83,000 pages viewed, and nearly 211,000 hits received. That’s a whole lot of activity for you folks who may not realize that the web site and this blog site is really about just one man’s own personal efforts of introducing to the world market and keeping all who are already familiar with them informed about the very cool, unique hand crafted one-stringed musical instrument called the canjo, or as it is more officially identified here as, the CanJoe. For any who has, for their first time, accessed this blog site, there is much information available here for you to view and become informed by and, please, you are each and all cordially invited to take the time and opportunity via this blog site to learn the true history and to become more familiar with the only genuine source for these only authentic, original CanJoe one-stringed musical instruments in this universe.
2012 has seen another year of “firsts” for these instruments specifically made by the CanJoe Company of Blountville, TN. For example, this year hit one milestone for raising the bar even higher on the value that these CanJoe Company made instruments can command by having one specific very special custom created instrument to sell on auction at a price of $1,000 dollars. This year also ends with being the 5th consecutive year of the continuing “Tour of Smiles”, a “magical, musical tour of children’s hospitals”. Over these past several years, now over a thousand hand made CanJoe Company instruments have been personally crafted for and given to chronically ill patients of these hospitals to be kept and used by them as a form of healing “smile therapy”.
